Charities such as us are working to provide aid to those who need it the most, but the struggle to continuously raise funds is a barrier. With your donations we have been able to do marvelous things that would have inhibited multiple peoples lives and abilities if not completed. Although, we must acknowledge that charities such as ours get assistance from the community and our followers in many ways, and in this blog, I will tell you how you can help. 

1. Donate!

Every penny goes a long way when considering the average meal in India costs less than a dollar. If you are privileged enough and have the means, we encourage you to make a difference and help someone today by means of donation.

2. Raise Awareness!

Need a topic to discuss with your friends? Perhaps consider informing them about issues they may not even be aware of. Did you know Leprosy is still prevalent in India today? Many people think it was an illness eradicated over 100 years ago as we don’t see it in the West.

3. Engage in Community activities!

Charities need you! An immense amount of effort is put into community runs, events or even sales such as yard or clothing drives. The next time you see one, don’t look down upon yourself when considering if you can participate, aid your local charity and pick up a cool souvenir or experience along the way!

4. An idea for a present!

Birthday or Anniversary coming up? Unless you have been looking forward to the gifts you will receive from your friends and family, tell them to donate in your name instead! This provides a significant way that your loved ones can show just how much they appreciate you while also assisting those who may need the assistance. 

5. Volunteer!

a. Don’t have the means to provide monetary assistance? That’s okay! Charities are always looking and welcome to the idea of taking on some volunteers who are willing to help get the word out while also having a good time!

6. If you are a business owner…

a. You can promise to donate a percent of your profit. Or simply put a donation box out to encourage people to make donations as they are leaving. Additionally, if any stock goes unsold, drop them off at a local charity, where we will happily take it in for our efforts to resell and raise funds.

7. Become an Ambassador/ Share online

a. Reaching the correct audience is difficult without your help. The number of viewers on our content dramatically determines the amount of money we are able to raise. You can help us by simply pressing share or adding our posts to your story.

Overall, providing aid to your local charity is not as difficult as it may seem, as small actions such as those outlined above can lead to something great. When you are unable to donate, there are many other ways you can help. Remember that there are still people all around the world who need us to work for them to survive. Please consider supporting us on this journey.
