About Us

Who we are & What's our Mission

CFTW is a registered Charitable Organization of Canada, run by Dr. John Bickert.
He believes that love should cause us to act, spend our time, talents, and God's
gifts to assist those in underdeveloped countries.
Not every one of us can make trips to remote regions of the world to help others.
Still, we can contribute through prayers, time, talent, and resources that effectively make changes in the lives of many people. CFTW is all about compassion you can show towards HUMANITY.

Meet Dr. John Bickert
- President of CFTW

Dr. Bickert is an excellent human being, motivated to help people who don't have basic health facilities and education. He has made eight trips to India since November 2016 and started many projects for health and education. He believes that “love” should cause all of us to act, spend our time, talents and God’s gifts to assist those in underdeveloped countries.

Dr. John is struck by the many stories shared with him of others in the organization who have worked unselfishly to build a school in a remote area of Ghana, travel to Rwanda, and Peru and has been affected by his very own personal experiences in assisting those in need through chiropractic care.  He states that the unassuming nature of many who come for attention and their tremendous graciousness and thankfulness are life-changing.

dr. sharon marshall
- Vice president

Dr. Sharon Marshall traveled a lot as a child, following work with her father who was a crane operator on international pipeline contracts. As a consequence of the travel as a youth, she has seen firsthand what third world poverty really looks like and how devastating it is to those who cope with it.

She is thankful to CFTW for providing an opportunity to reach into some of these communities with restorative health care and practical financial incentives to help those in need.

RajVEER KAUR
- junior development officer

Rajveer lives in Calgary and works as Junior Development Officer. She will be part of the Love is Your Greatest Gift campaign to raise funds for the desperately poor in India. We know that fundraising is a daunting task, but without your generosity, our work to help the poor particularly now in India would not be productive. Thank you, Rajveer.
